Mouth of Saranac River Postcard
$ 0.45
The 81-mile long Saranac River in the North Central Adirondacks has more than three dozen source lakes and ponds north of Upper Saranac Lake, the highest Mountain Pond on Long Pond Mountain. Its upper section is mostly flat water and lakes, but its lower third drops elevation moe quickly and is known for its navigable rapids, popular for Whitewater kayaking, canoeing, and rafting.
